I was about 38 when this picture was taken. Harney Flats Paleo Indian site, Thonotosassa, Fl. A test ditch dug by the state looking for site boundries. I found and reported the site to the state. The Archaeologist contacted said it would be named after me, and was reported so in the newspaper. Didn't happen, but the state did mention they looked at my collection. books 3 B-3<><>Visit the Kolomoki website at http://www.geocities.com/kolomoki_society to read information about the society. While you're there take a look at our show pictures of meetings held recently. The Society has reorganized, registered as non-profit and become very collector friendly. Try us out and you'll see, we believe in giving something back to the membership and supporting other non-profit organizations. Most recently we helped raise funds for the Pasco Co. Fl. beauty pageant in Dade City Florida. Our most recent show/meeting donated eight new folding tables to the American Legion Hall, Post 157 in Donalsonville, Ga. Our main focus is the hobby and comradery between collectors of prehistoric artifacts. Trading, buying and selling by displaying members is allowed at our meetings. In our effort to provide more tables for displays we're not taking reservations for large artifact dealerships. When possible we do make allowances for supporting products for the hobby, such as collector frames, t-shirts, paintings etc. Come and join us, our meetings will make you feel as though you've been to a big family get-together. Contact us if we can help you with a fund raiser. All you need is a facility with good lighting, air, parking and a minimum of 25 to 40 tables. fla@alltel.net
